2016 CIMA: 2017 Honda CBF190X Launched in China

Trending facts about the emergence of smallest capacity adventure tourer is simply showing the motoring market is blooming and going to expand in this segment soon. As earlier reported, BMW Motorrad adventure tourers that are supposed to unmask at 2016 EICMA in Milan, Italy, are also consolidating the above said fact. In order to join the same contest, Japanese bike maker-Honda has introduced a new compact engined adventure motorcycle at the proceeding China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition in Chongqing. This dual-purpose sports tourer will be branded as the CBF190X or nicknamed with the title of ‘Fight Hawk’.

Optically, the rollout vehicle, the CBF190X is wearing adventure styling to differentiate it from a serious tourer. The embellished decals on this sports-tourer, inherited from its higher-capacity elder siblings, are the evident facts which made it a true dual purpose motorcycle. The growing demand for the entry level adventurer will certainly benefited the Fight Hawk to conquer this mass market commuter segment.

On mechanicals, packed with the powertrain of 184 cc SOHC air-cooled single cylinder engine. The CBF190X will head toward with the aids of pump out 15bhp and 14.9Nm at 11,000 and 7,000 rpm respectively. The engine units is mated to a five-speed gearbox to transmit these aforementioned power figures to the rear wheel. Stopping duties will be in consideration via single petal discs at front and rear both end.
