The American auto giant, Indian Motorcycle introduced the Dark Horse version of the premium Chieftain offering, as it earlier, rolled out the Indian Chief’s Dark Horse version. A blacked-out beggar will sit below the standard chieftain variant in the Indian Motorcycle lineup.
Containing the undeniable appearance, The dark out bagger with matte black, has also uses of fewer chrome bits. The American-made V-twin motorcycle by eliminating all the chrome conveys an aggressive attitude.
The powering comes from the same Thunder Stroke 111 engine,which also been blacked out. The dark horse has been stand out on the borrowed chassis and suspension of the indian Chieftain. The edgy new Chieftain Dark Horse comes packed with host of features like tinted power windscreen, solo seat , spacious hard bags on both sides, ABS, electronic cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, integrated premium audio system and remote key fob with keyless ignition.

The motorcycle is powered by the same but blacked-out Thunder Stroke 111 engine, using the same chassis and suspension as the Indian Chieftain. The new Chieftain Dark Horse comes from the factory, outfitted with a solo seat and short, tinted power windscreen, yet maintains its spacious power-locking hard bags, ABS, electronic cruise control,, premium stereo with AM/FM Bluetooth and smartphone compatible input, and remote key fob with keyless ignition.
“The Indian Chieftain Dark Horse’s blacked-out styling and powerful Thunder Stroke 111 engine will elevate our rider to the top of the pack,” says Indian Motorcycle Marketing Director Reid Wilson. “Starting with the award-winning Chieftain platform, the Dark Horse series signature matte black paint and raw attitude is an open canvas for customisation that makes it the perfect bike for riders who are ready to ‘Be Legendary,’” he added.

To stand out clear the attributes belongings to the Dark Horse family. The components from tip to toe , as fenders, fairing, fuel tank, bags, suspension forks, headdress, mirrors, handlebars, switch cubes, turn signals, tank console, engine and airbox cover, lower controls, floorboards and taillight housing has been blacked out.
Indian Motorcycle offers authentic factory accessories to the bike which now also added Blackout series accessory air cleaners, performance cams, slip-on exhausts and an option of a stereo with 100-watt saddlebag speakers for entertainment on to the long or the short trip of the rider.
Important thing pricing is expected to be below a couple of lakh from the Indian Chieftain variant for some relaxation.
