2017 Ford Vehicles Get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as Standard

Ford, the American automobile manufacturing company is making the 2017 models more intimate and appealing by supporting the availability of its SYNC3 connectivity platform.

The SYNC3 connectivity platform provides the users an all new experience of driving, by featuring new hardware and software which is said to have faster and more intuitive performance by the firm. The new platform allows the users to connect the smartphones and access many features like navigation and hands-free phone calls.

Jeffrey Hannah, the Director of North America for global automotive technology research firm SBD said, “Ford is not taking the traditional approach of introducing Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto on a few piecemeal models or as an expensive option on luxury vehicles only. The guesswork for consumers is over - if you buy any 2017 Ford vehicle with SYNC3, you drive off the lot with both these innovative technologies ready to go.”
