2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS Launched in India at a Price of ₹ 2.7 crores

Maserati, Italian Luxury Vehicle Manufacturer has launched the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS in India at a price of ₹ 2.7 crores (ex-showroom) in India. It is being considered fastest luxury sedans across the globe offering from the Italian car manufacturer. The newly launched 2018 Quattroporte GTS was firstly presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is available in two trim options - GranLusso and GranSport. Each of the trim gives a distinctive look to the Sedan.

The 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS comes with advanced features such as rear and front bumper, a sharp and distinguished front grille, full LED headlights along with glare-free high-beam assist, stability programme.

The 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS GranLusso Trim level, the sedan's luxury car has been equipped with attractive features like front spoiler, chrome bumper inserts and body colored side skirts. The sedan's luxury car also has GranLusso badges on the wings and features a 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels along with black colored brake calipers.

On the other hand, the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS GranSport trim focuses more on dynamic style. It features sporty sculpted angles for the central front and side intakes, aerodynamic splitters, whereas the center spoiler and the side inserts of the car are painted in Black Piano. You also get optional exterior carbon package which includes carbon finished ORVMs, door handles, B-pillar cover and front bumper.

The Interior of 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS has been upgraded with more technologies. Apart from the upholstery and leather changes, the cabin of the car features 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) unit that sits in the center of the dashboard. It can be operated in three different modes: via the multi-touch screen, the rotary control in the central console, or through voice commands. Apart from Wi-Fi Connectivity, the touchscreen system also has both features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mirroring functions.

The four- door luxury sedan comes with two sets of audio systems – the first one comprises of powerful 900-watt, 10 speaker Harman Kardon audio system, as standard. The second one comprises 1280 watt, 15 speaker Bowers & Wilkin Surround sound system as optional. The fastest four-door sedan comes with several safety features such as six airbags, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA), active headrests, Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) and many more.

In terms of mechanics, the flagship Quattroporte GTS version packs a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine of the car tuned to produce an output of 522 bhp at 6500-6800 rpm, along with 710 Nm of peak torque available between 2250 and 3500 rpm. The Quattroporte GTS uses 8-speed ZF automatic transmission which helps to manage the power sent to the rear wheels.
The company claims that it is capable to hit 100 kmph just only in 4.7 seconds and power to a top speed of 310 kmph.

Bookings of 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS version are open for public. The four- door luxury sedan will have to compete with the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
