Once again, Aston Martin has geared-up for the world-class debut of its all new DB11 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that will be held from June 23 to 26, 2016. First showcased at Geneva Motor Show in March this year, the DB11 adds a new member to the Aston Martin ‘DB’ family.

With exceptional bodywork and latest technology, the new DB11 is the most significant car in the Aston Martin history since the debut of DB9 in 2003. The new DB11 will be an exhibit in the Michelin Supercar Paddock during the weekend of speed festival. This supercar is powered by an in-house designed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that delivers a marvellous power of 608 PS.

To demonstrate this super power, Aston Martin’s President and CEO, Andy Palmer, himself will be at the steering wheel of DB11 at Goodwood.

He said, “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the best events of the summer season and Lord March’s beautiful estate has become a place of pilgrimage for car enthusiasts.”

“Being a first person to drive the new DB11 up the famous hill climb at Goodwood is a great honor on behalf of all employees”, he added more.

Aston martin Vulcan

Making a come back on Goodwood’s famous 1.16-mile hill climb track, the Aston Martin Vulcan will join the DB11 at Goodwood. Aston Martin Vulcan, that made its global debut at Goodwood in last year, powered by a 7.0-litre V12 normally aspirated engine which is tuned to produce a massive power of 820 bhp. Featuring all carbon fiber body, the Vulcan had a limited production of just 24 units across the world which are now sold out.

Aston Martin Racing works driver and Vulcan development driver, Darren Turner, “Last year the car was only three days old when we arrived at Goodwood and we hadn’t even done a circuit test. Since then we have completed 15,00kms of testing and the car is now an incredible machine to drive. I am looking forward to going back up the hill in the Aston Martin Vulcan and this time really being able to push.”

Aston Martin Vantage GT8 also will also make its first UK public run in Saturday’s timed run category and will be driven by Darren Turner. Being the lightest and most powerful V8 Vantage ever, GT8 is inspired by Aston Martin’s GTE race car program and powered by company’s 4.7-litre V8 engine. Only 150 units will be built for this model and all of them have already been sold.

Aston Martin will also give a chance to the visitors at Goodwood to drive the Rapide S model.
