After Cars, its time for Motorcycles to get Wireless Smartphone Charging

As, the electronic world is blooming up each passing day, then why not the automotive industry!! Well, you must have heard or some might have used the wireless charging system in four-wheelers, but how about using the very same in the motorcycles? If this would have happened, then regardless of anything, whether you are going for a long drive in your car or on your motorcycle, you will stay connected with your smartphone whenever you want to. Over and above, this is not at all a dream for the motorcyclists because the Continental, one of the major automotive suppliers all across the globe, has announced to introduce this technology pretty soon.

At the INTERMOT, which was held in Cologne, Germany, the Continental has declared that they have started working to introduce the wireless charging in the motorbikes. Well, they will be taking care of the unnecessary wiring going all around the motorcycle and providing hassle free riding with no twists and turns in wiring. In order to introduce the wireless smartphone charging system, the Continental will also be offering Near Field Communication (NFC) in motorcycle's electronics incorporated with wireless charging to make the Bluetooth connection easy.

The Product manager at Continental, Annette Welzer at the INTERMOT says, "More and more smartphones support wireless charging. With wireless charging, we ensure there are no hazardous tangled cables on the bike. Motorcyclists can simply place their smartphones in a stowage box integrated into the motorcycle. This protects the cell phone from vibrations and the weather and charges it continuously."

Besides to all this information, the Continental also introduces heat management system to make certain that while charging none of the related components increases their own temperature. Or in brief, the wireless smartphone charging system will not affect any other electronic component in the motorcycle. And, apart from the smartphone, the facility can be able to detect any alien objects, for example coins, chocolate or metal wrappers, keys, etc. and straightaway stops charging.

Eventually, moving towards the main point, the Continental Wireless Smartphone Charging system will be matching-up with only Qi standard specified smartphones, such as Nokia Lumia 1520, 1020, 925, 820, 720, LG G2 and Optimus G Pro, Samsung S3, S4 and S5, Google Nexus 4 and 5 and Apple iPhone 5, 5S, 4 and 4S.
