Renowned Italian car maker Alfa Romeo in its recently held Frankfurt Motor Show took the wraps off the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV seen as an upgrade to its previously launched sports sedan model under the same name. Though Alfa Romeo dealerships in Italy have begun accepting pre-orders for the Giulia QV, where it is priced at about 79,000 Euros (INR 58.43 lacs) but the Italian company also plans to make Giulia more appealing to a large audience by releasing budget friendly variants in Q3 2016.

If reports are to be believed, it will be offered with three diesel and five petrol engines and is rumored to come packed with either four or six-cylinder units. The petrol engine variant comes with 2.0-liter engine that produces 3 different power outputs of 180PS, 250Ps and 330PS. It is also reported that in the new Giulia QV model other than the 2.9-liter V6 engine that gives 510PS power, there will also be a detuned version of the same 2.9-liter engine that will produce 490PS of power.
The diesel variant includes a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that again produces different power outputs: 135 PS, 180 PS and 210 PS. The variant will also include a manual gearbox, 7- and 8-speed automatic gearboxes. Top-end variants can also come equipped with an AWD system.
