Now, the major concerns are what are these new additions to Audi utility vehicle lineup and where will they be slotted in the hierarchy? Well, the Audi Q8, as it sounds, will be the range-topping model of the carmaker’s utility vehicle division and sit above the Q7. The Q8, however, it will not rival the Mercedes-Benz GLS, instead, its coupe-like silhouette says it will take on the like of BMW X6 and with the seat for four in lavish comfort, the Q8 will lock the horn against the like of Volvo XC90 Excellence.

On the other hand, the Audi Q4, which will be placed between the Q3 and Q5, will boast of the coupe-like stance similar as Q8. Compact Utility Vehicle (CUV) Q4, this is what Audi calls, will be sportier in nature. Audi will be battling this one against the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, Range Rover Evoque and the upcoming BMW X2.
