According to rumors hovering the market, the German auto maker Audi is making plans to launch the S5 sportback car in the Indian market. This step could be the result of fine performance shown by the company during 2014. The car is based on the A5 Sportback concept which is available in the international market and is a standard 5-Door coupe. The S5 will be placed between the S4 and S6 cars and the company is not really looking to generate high sales volume from this car, but hoping to make a higher luxury car segment where it could have the monopoly or higher percentage at least.
The car will be powered by a 3.0 Litre V6 TFSI engine that will produce 333 PS power and 440 Nm of torque as well. It's also has latest 7-Speed S Tronic gearbox that can accelerate it to 100 km/h mark from 0 in just 5 seconds before hitting the top speed of 250 km/h.
The price of the car is expected to be around between 60 Lac or higher as it will be brought to the country via CBU method and hence accounted for such higher price. Well, lets just wait for another 3 months for the expected launch of this car or will update you with some other information.
