The luxury automaker Audi has recently displayed its S5 Sportback model in India at the Autocar Performance Show held in Mumbai. This was the first public debut of S5 in India. Its launch took place on 20th October, 2015 at the retail price of INR 62.95 Lacs (ex-showroom). Much like every other Audi offering, this one is also high on style and class.

The most distinctive feature that is highlighted on the exterior portions is its aluminium outline on portions like grille, fog lamp enclosure and borders of the window sill. The same pattern is seen at the wing mirrors that are covered in silver grey and look stunning. Further the presence of 18-inch alloys, xenon headlamps, LED DRLs and body color door handles enhances the beauty of this luxury car.

Moving inside, you'll get to see a Nappa leather upholstery, a multi-function steering wheel covered in leather, matt brushed inlays and optional sport seats at the front with the words S5 embossed on them. The seats are electrically adjustable and there is rear seat headrest, automatic climate control, cruise control, Bang & Olufsen Sound system, MMI navigation facility accompanied by 17.78 cm color display along with 3D navigation mapping.
Mechanically it is fitted with a 3 litre, 6-cylinder petrol motor that is clubbed to a 7-speed automatic transmission gearbox. This setup is tuned to generate maximum power amounting to 328.5 Bhp between 5500-6500rpm and 440Nm between 29000-5300rpm. The acceleration capability enables S5 to cover 100 km/h from standstill in just 5.5 seconds.
