Audi to Renovate A4 Sedan for Next Year Launch

Competition among the luxury cars is all time soaring in the world and the companies are finding it very hard to cop-up with the demands of its customers. However, they try everything possible to make up their market and the involves refreshment of their cars indeed. The latest company who is now trying this stint is the famous German automaker Audi and car they've selected is their A4 sedan. Apart from the competition, another reason which has forced the Audi to revamp this A4 sedan is its declining sales and stiff competition from its contemporaries like BMW 3-series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

This next generation Audi A4 sedan will be based on the manufacturer's MLB-Evo platform which has been developed after 5 years of intense work that will actually displace the steel welded monocoque by the composite of aluminum and steel jointed by screws and high-class adhesives. This new technology will also feature on other Audi cars as well and Audi has also started replacing the machinery for the same purpose.

As far as the mechanical terms are concerned, the car will continue with its current front wheel drive and longitudinal engine layout along with the quattro four-wheel drive system as an option. However, this time you may get an electrically operated rear axle wheel after seeing the huge demand in the hybrid car segment. But, nothing has been confirmed officially yet by the company and as soon as we get some information, we'll head back to you so stay tuned.
