Bajaj Platina Revived for Festive Season, Priced at INR 45,350

Bajaj Auto has revived its one of the most preferred commuter motorcycles in its lineup, the Platina for the approaching festive season. The 2018 Bajaj Platina basically gets updates on the skin front. It now features LED DRLs above the headlight and a redesigned Instrument cluster. Besides this updation, the brand has already inserted a new Platina ES Spoke, a base variant of the model in the portfolio.

Under the fuel tank, the Bajaj Platina continues to be powered by the same powertrain of the ongoing model. The 102cc single cylinder DTS-i engine is claimed to generate the peak power of 8.2hp along with 8.6Nm twisting force. The power will be sent to the rear wheel with the help of a 4-speed gearbox transmission. For this revised model, the company claims the fuel efficiency of 104km/l which is simply more than its rivals.

Designed aiming comfort for rider and pillion passenger, the Bajaj Platina stands on longer front and rear suspension. Other than this, a Spring Soft foam seat and footpads at the rear also enhance passengers comfort. Braking power for the commuter comes from a 110 mm front and 130mm rear drum brakes. Moreover, an 11-litre capacity fuel tank is good enough for this fuel-efficient motorcycle that touches 108kgs on weighing scale.
