Bajaj To Discontinue Pulsar 200 NS From its Lineup

After the grand launching of Pulsar RS200 and AS200, the largest two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto, is going to take a big step, Yes!! The firm is going to discontinue the Pulsar 200NS from its lineup to expand the production of the newly introduced Pulsar AS200. Some reports suggested that the discontinuation was temporary. The firm conveyed to all its dealerships during the launching of Pulsar AS200 and stated that the motorcycle will be discontinued after the festival season. The Pulsar 200NS and AS200, both are the same motorcycle that runs on the same engine, the firm stated during the launching of AS200.

After the production of Pulsar AS200, the motorcycle has received good response from the audience. Both the Pulsar AS200 and 200NS are powered by the same 199.5cc single-cylinder and air-cooled motorcycle that returns 23.5 PS of power and 18.3 NM of torque. The firm might introduce the lower version of AS200 in the next year. Moreover, the Pulsar AS200 is a faired version of 200NS which is featured with projector headlight and windscreen, while the rear section remaining the same.

The Pulsar 200NS is still listed in the official website of Bajaj Auto and the firm continues to retail the Pulsar 200NS. Reports also suggested that the new Pulsar 150 and 180 will be based on the Naked Sport and built on the same perimeter frame.
