BMW Imported 3 Series Facelift to India for Testing

As per the market reports, BMW has brought the two units of its 3 Series facelift to India mainly for testing purpose. Known as 320i variant, both of these units are likely to be same as the current ones, apart from getting subtle changes for the exteriors as well as for the interiors. Aesthetically, this upcoming updated version will be adorned with a new kidney grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, adaptive LED headlight clusters, revised LED tail lights and latest alloy wheels. All these furnishings will be applied on three different coloured body options, Jatoba Metallic, Platinum Silver and Mediterranean.

Its interiors will take inspirations from the newly retouched BMW X3 and X5 SUVs with receiving new trim lines, chrome accented centre console and finest upholstery. Other features will be introduced as full color Heads-Up display, LTE mobile technology and new navigation system. On the other hand, BMW will also offer modifications on iDrive system, suspension unit, chassis and steering, inside for better handling.

Spreading the light beneath its skin, the BMW 320i version is powered by a 1997 cc four cylinder turbo petrol engine to make an appreciable power of 181 bhp and an impressive torque of 290 Nm. Whereas the ongoing 2.0 litre CRDI diesel mill will be chucked out, a 1.5 litre three cylinder turbocharged engine will be available as the more powerful unit.
