Apart from launching the new BMW 7 series and presenting models like X1 facelift as well as i8, the automaker has now introduced the M4 coupe model at the auto expo. The automaker sells M3, M4, M5 and M6 Gran Coupe models in the M Series, whereby the M4 is a coupe version of M3 sports sedan. In the Indian market, this car is offered at the price tag of INR 1.21 Crores (ex-showroom, New Delhi), which is just a little bit pricier than the 3-series tagged at INR 1.19 Crores.
The showcased car dons a white paint job and it receives some stripes running along the length along with the lettering M Performance. It is also fitted with stylish headlamps, signature grille, air dam and a pair of dual exhaust tips at the rear end. From inside, it gets an all black ambiance with the seats covered in creamish-orange material.

Mechanically, it is packed with a 3 litre, 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 2979 cc displacement. It generates maximum power of 431Bhp at 5500 to 7300 rpm and a peak torque of 1850 to 5500 rpm. This output is transmitted to the wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox. It is much lighter in weight than its rival Audi RS5, but the latter is cheaper by INR 10 Lacs.
