Chevrolet Tavera To Receive BSIV Engine In India Soon

Chevrolet India is bringing the top selling Tavera model with a BSIV engine. The Production of the Tavera model is presently carried out at the General Motors plant located in Halol, Gujarat. The Plant will continue to manufacture the Tavera model. It has also come into notice that the carmaker has finally decided to discontinue the Enjoy MPV in India. The company is also focused towards bringing the next generation Chevy Beat soon.

As of now, the Tavera MUV is offered with the BSIII engine in India. Some genuine sources confirm that the car is soon getting upgraded with the BSIV engine. The company aims that the upgradation will boost the sales of the car as well. The reports suggest that the ongoing BSIII will be dropped by April 2017.

Chevy Tavera is one of the successful product from the carmaker and due to certain restrictions in the Indian emission norms, the car has limited access to some parts of the country. The upgraded Tavera will be available in major metro cities and the sales is likely to commence by 2019.
