Datsun Aiming to Improve Safety for Ongoing Go

The affordable car manufacturing company from Nissan, Datsun has decided to make its Go hatchback well perfect by adding noteworthy safety with driver side airbags. The production will be commenced from next month at the Oragadam plant, situated near Chennai. This small car is already getting a lot of love from the customers in India and its new security equipped variant is expected to be more popular than the current one. The manufacturer has confessed that this noted safety will only be available in its top end T trim version, which gets glamor and facilitative exterior alongside adjustable headlights, manually adjustable Ext. rear view mirror, stunning wheel covers, integrated antenna and a chrome grille.

If we would start talking about the existing security terms, then the Datsun Go T trim comprises central locking, child safety locks, day and night rear view mirror, passenger side rear view mirror, centrally mounted fuel tank, Engine immobilizer, follow me home headlamps and many more features. This model misses out the driver side airbags, which will also be rendered in its upcoming updated version soon. Within the cabin, this mini car includes air conditioner, heater, tachometer, electronic multi-tripmeter and digital odometer.

Mechanically, the ongoing variant is powered by a 1.2 litre 12V petrol engine, which generates power outputs of 67.06 bhp @ 5000 rpm and 104 Nm @ 4000 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is present there to send the produced power to its front wheels as well as the Go T trim is capable to adduce 20.60 km/l of fuel efficiency on the highway and 17.0 km/l in the urban condition.
