Datsun Go Plus to be Set Up on January 15

An extended version of the Datsun Go hatchback, Go+ MPV will be arriving in India on 15 January 2015 and this upcoming runabout is the second variant from Nissan’s subsidiary, which will make its appearance in the Indian automobile market. Talking about exterior, the car gets similar body design as its existing version, while the dimensions have been enhanced that making this vehicle more huge as compared to the current one. Same thing applies to its interior and all components remain same within the cabin, but this time it receives the enlarged space and offers to seat maximum number of people very easily.

Based on V platform, the seven seater compact MPV has a length of 3.99 meters and wheelbase of 2.45 meters. Moreover, the 48 litres of boot space can be increased to 347 litres by folding down its third row. Apart from the dimensions, this carriage comprises an identical dashboard including the mobile docking station, power steering, front power windows ad follow-me-home headlight. The Datsun Go+ will be available in four variants, namely: D, D1, A and top-end T. All these variants would have a digital tachometer as well as a full drive computer and its premium T trim unifies various features that we have already mentioned above.

The runabout is powered by a 1.2 litre three cylinder engine to produce a standard power of 68 bhp alongside splendid torque of 104 Nm and mated with a 5-speed manual transmission that will send the power to its front wheels. In 1 litre fuel consumption, the MPV can go up to remarkable distance of 20.62 km. If this car will be priced between the expected range of INR 5.7-7.50 Lacs, then it will become the most inexpensive 7 seater runabout in today’s generation.
