Datsun l2 to be Introduced Within Budget Fit Segment in India

The demand graph for affordable cars in India has never been slotted down, while it's increasing day by day as in today's generation, a large number of youths are getting jobs and they love to prefer their own vehicle for daily use in the urban conditions. Hyundai Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda are the top three manufacturers, who considered the customer's need as a thoughtful point and are continuously accomplishing their requirements by bringing impressive  Hatchback runabouts, such as, i10, Alto 800 and Brio, respectively. Recently, Nissan has acquainted its new brand with the name of Datsun for rolling out affordable cars.

Its Go hatchback as well as Go+ MPV are already obtaining a very good response in the Indian automobile market and now, the manufacturer has decided to introduce its latest budget fit runabout, 'l2'. The president of Nissan India said that the upcoming model will get a 'cost effective positioning', which will set up within 18 months. Slotted below the Go hatchback, this vehicle will be based on the latest CMF-A platform that has been developed by Renault-Nissan.

However, Renault would acquaint this new platform ahead of the Datsun l2 launch while releasing its mini car that will be codenamed as 'XBA'. It's likely to be unscrewed in June 2015 including 800 cc petrol engine alongside an automated manual transmission and its gearbox is also expected to be shared with the l2.

Apart from competing against the likes of XBA, this forthcoming hatchback from Datsun will also challenge the Chevrolet Spark, Hyundai Eon and Maruti Alto. The vehicle is anticipated to be priced at the most affordable range between INR 3 Lacs to INR 4 Lacs.
