Datsun Redi-Go Unvieled Globally; India Launch in June First Week

One of the most awaited entry level hatchback car for 2016, Datsun Redi-Go has been unveiled globally at the event in Delhi, while its launch will take place in June. As we had updated earlier the vehicle is based on the Renault-Nissan alliance's CMF-A platform that can also be seen with Renault Kwid. Once arrived in auto market,  it will go up against the cars in the segment like Maruti Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and the Renault Kwid. Furthermore, the pre-booking is said to be started from the May 1st 2016.

First showcased at the Auto Expo 2014, the Datsun Redi-Go will be powered by the same 800 cc, three cylinder petrol engine as the Renault Kwid that produces 54 Bhp of power along with 72 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is mated to the motor to deliver the power at front wheels.

Coming to the features, it comes with hexagonal grille with chrome bordering, a tall-boy stance, high mounted rear windscreen and vertically stacked tail-lamps. It also gets black-colored rear view mirror covers, B-Pillars and 6-spoke alloy wheels at the exterior.

The high ground clearance of 185mm, best in class fuel efficiency and spacious cabin will surely leave you spellbound. Moreover, the carmaker has also released a rediGo app for an android platform that will let you have all the information about this car. Well, the price is still not clear, it is expected to go on sale around INR 2.5 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
