Ducati's First motorcycle to win Compasso d'Oro Design award

Ducati, a well established automobile manufacturer in Italian market, has various models of sports bikes, cruiser bikes and racing bikes. "Ducati 1199 Panigale", has become the first bike of this company to be awarded with Compasso d'Oro, the most important award in the field of designing industry which was awarded in Europe.

Compasso d'Oro is Europe's most admirable award in the field of designing industry and it is presented every three years by the Association per il Disegno Industriale (ADI) to celebrate the Italian Design excellence.

The bike has made its honorable entry and is considered to be a part of their national heritage collection. This is the first bike by Ducati which scored this much high distinction and made its entry in the Compasso d'Oro collection.

Specs and Features of Ducati 1199 Panigale

"Ducati 1199 Panigale" is featured with Ducati's most powerful L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine which produces 132Nm of Torque and power of 195Bhp. The 1199 is dressed with an aluminium monocoque frame and semi floating 330mm Brembo discs at the front and 245mm disc brakes at the back. The front forks are designed by a Marzocchi's lightweight aluminium and Sachs suspension unit at rear. This model gets Ducati's traction control system, as the company claims that it is the most powerful engine on the planet.

Recently one more bike has been launched by the company named "Ducati Monster 821" introducing all new Testastretta 11 degree engine 821 cc engine along with that and it is having an eight traction control system with three stage ABS technology along with different riding modes.
