Fiat has good 2014 in the Indian car market with the launch of Punto Evo and Avvnetura crossover. The company has also announced the launch of its Abrath 595 car and luxury SEV brand Jeep in the Indian market by 2015. Now, the company will be launching Abrath Punto Evo as well and it'll be taking the fight against the crossovers like Cross Polo and Etios Cross along with the performance hatchback car namely VW Polo and Mini Cooper. The design of the car would be sporty to differentiate it from the regular 595 hatchback car. The engine output will also be a bit charged up in the car as this being a performance car.
Describing its engine, the car will get 1.4 Litre T-Jet engine churning a maximum 165 bhp power and 250 Nm of torque. The acceleration factor takes this car to 100 km/h from 0 in just around 8 seconds. It'll also be equipped with many safety features like ABS, EBD, hydraulic brake, seven airbags, ESP, hill hold assist and much more.
There would also be 17-inch alloy wheels, side skirts, side vents, diffuser, twin exhaust tail pipes, aggressive front fascia and much more to make it a true sporty crossover car. The date of launch hasn't been decided yet and so as the price, but the company is planning to launch this runabout during the festive season in India as the car sales boom to sky high limits during that period of the year.
