The Italian car maker Fiat has seen some good time in India with its Punto Evo and Avventura crossover. The company has also said that it would bring the Lauxury SUV range Jeep in India as well. However, for now the company is focusing on bringing T-Jet powered Punto Evo under the brand name Abrath which had been launched a few months ago in India. The Abrath is the performance brand of the company for niche specifica cars and will take Punto Evo and Avventura to the fight against the likes of Volkswagen Polo GT TSI car. The launch of this more powerful Punto Evo is expected to be done durng the festive season this year.
The car would also be available with regualr engine options, that are 1.4 and 1.2 Litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.3 Litre Mult-Jet diesel engine. The T-Jet engine will be a 1.4 Litre turbocharged petrol unit that will produce 135 bhp power compared to 113 bhp power on Fiat Linea Sedan car. Abrath Avventura will also get the same engine and 5-speed manual gear-box and disc-brakes for all wheels as well.
The first images of the car were shared by a FB group called Fiat Moto Club and if all the above information is true and the car is coming during the festive season in India, then it would not be less than a gift for all the car enthusiasts in the country.
