The vice president of the product development of the European Ford, Barb Samardzich said, "Our new S-MAX Concept takes that unique appeal to the next level with Ford's latest design and technology innovations for a new generation." The S-Max is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel engine that created the tremendous output from 118 bhp to 178 bhp and the other engine with the 1.5 litre EcoBoost fuel mill produces the maximum output of 160 bhp. On the other hand, the 2.0 litre petrol model churns out the stunning power of 237 bhp. The model will go on sale in the UK in the summer season of the next year after the debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.
