Four Triumph Motorcycles are tuned for India, with Less Power

The Britain based two-wheeler manufacturer has taken one step ahead that will help to increase the sales of its products. The Triumph Motorcycles India is working on four motorcycle models and de-tuned their engine to match the Indian environment. This step will also help to increase the sales numbers among the Indian customers. The engines got de-tuned, which results in the decrement of the power and torque. Although, the firm hasn't disclosed the reason behind the de-tuning of the engines.

The motorcycles which got de-tune are the Triumph Bonneville, Triumph Daytona, Triumph Street and Speed Triple. All these motorcycles acquire more power and torque in the international market. Now, let's have an eye over the de-tuned power and torque figures of the Triumph motorcycles.

Triumph Bonneville

Starting from the Triumph Bonneville, this is a classic motorcycle carrying retro-styled look. The international version of Bonneville is capable to belt out a maximum power of 68 BHP @ 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 68NM @ 5800. While, the Indian version of the Bonneville will be churning out 60.2 BHP @ same rotations and a less torque of 61Nm @ 5550 revs. The Triumph Daytona is capable to push out a maximum power of 126BHP @ 12,500 RPM and a peak torque of 74Nm @ 11,900 revs. And, talking about the Indian version of the Daytona, it will fetch out 116.4 BHP @ 12,300 revs and 70Nm of torque @ 9,900 RPM.

At the same time, the Indian road-version will get tuned to push out a total power of 78 BHP @ 11,050 revs and a 57Nm @ 8375 RPM.
