Hero Duet launched In India, Priced at Rs. 48,400 (Ex. Showroom)

India's largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp, has officially launched 110cc Duet scooter in the country. The scooter will be sold in two variants- Duet LX and Duet VX that have been priced at Rs. 48,400 (Ex. Showroom) and Rs. 49,900 (Ex. Showroom) respectively. The scooter was unveiled last month at the launch of Hero Maestro Edge. Moreover, the scooter will be available in six color options- Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black Metallic, Pearl Silver White, Matt Vernier Grey, Grace Grey Metallic and Nature Green Metallic.

Hero has equipped the Duet with an all-new 111cc air-cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 8 BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 8 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, the motorcycle is mated to a six-speed transmission. The excellent ergonomic and dimension make the Duet a rider’s glee as it measures 1830mm in length, 1140mm in height and 725mm in width. As per the firm’s statements that are made during the launch, the Hero Duet is built around on an all-new chassis and metal body. The scooter returns a claimed mileage of 63.8 KMPL.

The other features that are coming in the new Duet i.e. mobile charging port, tubeless tyres, boot light, digital-analog instrument console, side stand indicator and external fuel filler. Furthermore, the new scooter is equipped with the front telescopic suspension and for smooth and safe braking, the manufacturer has blessed Duet with the integrated braking system. Moreover, in this category, the Hero Duet will compete against to the key player of the segment- Honda Activa-i.
