Hero Group extends the monetary aid of Rs. 100 Crore towards coronavirus relief funds

Hero Group assures the donation of Rs. 100 Crores to the relief funds used to combat coronavirus outbreak in India. Half of the share (i,e, Rs. 50 Crores) will go to the PM relief fund and rest will be contributed to other relief funds operative for the same purpose. Adding on to the said monetary contribution, the company is also determined to give out non-monetary aid like distribution of masks, sanitizers and 100 ventilators along with providing meals to 10,000 each day. Further, in the field of its excellence, the company has proposed to launch the modified motorcycles as two-wheeler ambulances for rural areas.

The companies under Hero franchise that are contributing towards the noble cause are Hero MotoCorp, Hero FinCorp, Hero Future Energies, Rockman Industries and Hero Electronix. Hero Enterprise and AG Industries have also contributed to this fund. Dr Pawan Munjal, enlightened people on the current situation saying that the entire world is fighting with the deadly COVID-19 calamity and in such time it is our foremost duty to join hands in the fight against coronavirus and do what all we could for the society and especially marginalized sections as they are the most affected victims of the calamity in terms of financial loss.

He further encouraged the citizens to contribute on their levels to PM relief funds that will be used to treat the positive corona patients and stop further spread of this pandemic (COVID-19).
