Production for the Hero Karizma and Karizma ZMR has permanently stopped as the lack of demand of these motorcycles has resulted the dealerships left out with the 2014 manufactured models. They are desperately trying to clear the remaining stock before the current year ends and before the value for these year old models further deprecate. To clear the already present stock, Hero merchandisers have started giving discounts on the Karizma and the Karizma ZMR models. While some dealerships have released the occupied stock from their showrooms and stopped taking orders of these bikes, others who still have the 2014 models, are tempting customers with a discount of Rs. 4000 to Rs. 6000.
The current renovated model has turned out to be a big disappointment as compared to the previous generation Karizma models, which were quite popular. Though the revamped models have got more power and a few modern changes as well, but still they did not impress the masses by their peculiar styling over the old bike.
The new Karizma model is also expected to be announced at the 2016 Auto Expo, as per the sources. The probability is also there that the company may present a brand new product and tag it with Karizma.
