Hero Launches Upgraded Maestro Edge at INR 57,782 (Ex-showroom, Mumbai)

Hero MotoCorp, after reviving a host of prominent products in its existing Indian lineup for the stringent BS-IV emission norms and Always Headlamp On (AHO) feature, has now updated its most selling scooter offering, the 2017 Hero Maestro Edge with similar BS-IV engine and AHO feature update.

Apart from this, the application of new paint schemes and fresh decals employment have also been noticed on the scooter. This up-to-date Maestro Edge will be priced costlier than the previous model around seven hundred bucks at the price sticker of INR 57,782 (Ex-showroom, Mumbai).

Mechanically, the 2017 Maestro Edge will be powered by the similar 111cc single-cylinder engine. However, the mill is tuned to comply BS-IV government regulations, owing to which, the power figures have also been modified to 8bhp and 8.7Nm. The engine now churns 0.3bhp less in power and 0.4Nm more in torque.

Already available in multiple colour choices, the 2017 Maestro Edge has also benefited with two new dual-tone paint schemes which are red/white and blue/white. In terms of rivalry, the new Hero Maestro Edge will be fought against the likes of Honda Activa 4G, TVS Jupiter, and the Yamaha Fascino.
