Hero Motocorp is all set to discontinue four of its most prominent products from Indian product lineup. The products are Maestro, Ignitor 125cc, Passion XPro and the Impulse, which are going to be discontinued due to the burden of paying the royalty to Honda for every single above mentioned vehicle. Hero announced this elimination just after the launch of first indigenously developed motorcycle – Splendor iSmart 110. Bringing the latest Splendour iSmart 110, company has already removed its forerunner sibling Splendor iSmart 100cc.
The company has started the run and gradually will end up working solely producing quality two wheelers in the country without taking any kind of assistance from the Japanese giant Honda. The bike maker is really confident with its indigenously developed a new 110cc engine which would be seen under the skin of the Duet and Maestro Edge. The Hero Maestro dismissal will leave the only Hero Pleasure-female oriented scooter boasted with Honda powerplant. It’s really not surprising if Hero uses its own indigenously developed 110cc mill of the latest Splendor iSmart 110, for the Passion XPro. The others, Hero Ignitor, and the Impulse have been brutally beaten via its rival in terms of sales in the Indian market. Though the automaker as per the speculations might bring up a more powerful impulse soon. It will be noticed when it comes into existence, company official did not reveal anything regarding Impulse. The company is also expected to bring more updated models by the end of this year.
