Owing to the going on festive season, Honda Cars India Limited has introduced Celebration Edition versions of Amaze and Mobilio models. These cars have been brought in the market with various additional features with the motive of targeting a larger customer base. The prices of these celebration editions are INR 5,22,700 and INR 6,79,000 respectively. Prospective buyers can choose among two different shades that include Tafetta White and Orchid White Pearl.
From outside, not much has been changed except for the decals on the side doors along with Celebration Edition logos etched at certain portions. As we move to the cabin, both the models have been imbibed with premium seat covers and cushions. Apart from this, the steering wheel has received an attractive cover and floor mats are also new.
Coming to the mechanical part, there will be no change in the powertrain as compared to the existing versions. This new edition of Amaze will continue to be powered by 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol motor and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel unit. Likewise, the Mobilio will be equipped with 1.5 litre engine in its petrol as well as diesel trims.
On the launch event, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India, Mr Jnaneswar Sen was quoted as saying, "We are delighted to introduce the new ‘Celebration Edition’ of Amaze and Mobilio to our customers to celebrate the upcoming festivities in the country. Our endeavor is to provide element of freshness to our products which would excite our customers.”
