Honda City Attended 2015 Shanghai Motor Show

Honda has made an amazing debut of its sixth generation City sedan at the ongoing 2015 Auto Show in Shanghai. This vehicle has been decided to be manufactured in China under the joint collaboration of Honda and Guangzhou Auto Corporation (GAC). Identical to the model currently selling out in India, it is 4440 mm in length, 1695 mm in width, 1495 mm in height and 2600 mm in wheelbase. Coming to the cosmetic features, which gives this runabout a glamorous look with new front fascia alongside a large grille, enlarged taillights and sloping roofline.

Based on an all-new platform, the City will be powered by a 1.5 litre four cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine to churn out power of 117 bhp and torque of 145 Nm. Two transmission options will be available, including a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. The upcoming car is expected to get three different trims as its predecessor for compelling the customers to show their noticeable interest in it. In the Chinese market, this vehicle receives distinct trims with a stretched version known as the Honda Crider, which has been ranked between Civic and Accord.

Its price is yet to be proclaimed, while there are expectations that it might get the starting cost of INR 9.15 Lac and will beat against the likes of Hyundai Verna as well as the Suzuki Alivio. Let see, this new version would replace its outgoing model or will be sold out with the existing City sedan.
