Honda Motorcycles is known as the largest motorcycle manufacturer all across the globe. The Japanese motorcycle maker has expanded its wings globally, in all major countries. Its just last year, when the Honda Motorcycles has introduced its ultra-luxurious cruiser motorcycle in India, named as the Honda Goldwing GL1800. Now, the firm has updated the cruiser on the occasion of the completion of 40 successful years. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has launched a special 40th Anniversary edition, named as Honda Goldwing GL 1800F.

The base model of the Honda Goldwing GL 1800F was offered in two variants; Airbag and Non-Airbag version. The 40th Anniversary special edition model of the Honda Goldwing GL 1800F has gone through various cosmetic upgrades, but retaining the very same technical features. The Special edition cruiser motorcycle will also be available for Indian enthusiasts as two upgraded models are being welcomed by the cultural capital of Maharashtra, Pune. It might also receive a 40th Anniversary emblem over the bodywork and on the seats of the motorcycle.
Technically, the Special edition Honda Goldwing GL 1800F is powered by horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder configuration. The liquid-cooled motor is incorporated by an engine displacement of 1832cc and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 1832cc displaced engine is tuned to generate a maximum power of 116 BHP @ 5500 revs and a peak torque of 167 Nm @ 4000 RPM. The 40th Anniversary Special edition Honda Goldwing GL 1800F will be offered in a limited edition for global sales.

The manufacturer will be offering two attractive colors for Special Edition Honda Goldwing GL 1800F. The first choice would be Dual Tone Candy Prominence Red along with Audio Comfort and priced at Rs 28.50 Lacs. The second option would be the Airbag version in a Pearl Glare White, which costs Rs 31.50 Lacs. These prices are from Ex-Showroom Delhi.
