Honda Jazz Spotlight Edition Spied Uncamouflaged Prior to Paris Debut

Although, this time Paris Motor Show is going to miss many of its key brands such as Ford, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Volvo and more as they are decided to skip the event. Still dozens of examples from numerous automakers will make an entry there. The Japanese Automaker Honda is also one of them and going to showcase a new edition of its most-in-demand hatch, the Jazz. However, some photographs of this new Spotlight edition have already been unveiled online without any plastic cover over its body.

The special version of the Jazz is an evolution of the 2016 Honda Jazz Keenlight concept that was displayed earlier at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year. The concept uses smooth and glossy design as well as styling elements together with accessories and custom copper color graphics in order to target more fashion-conscious consumers.

Talking about the exterior, it looks more or less identical to the regular Jazz, albeit, the color arrangements look different and attractive as well. The front grille, ORVMs, and tailgate are now embellished by unique bronze color touches. Besides, a new graphic on the side profile gives an insight of London’s skyline. The unique 15-inch alloy wheels also finished in the same color, while the sleek stylish headlights, air dams and DRLs are shared with the ongoing model.

No such images are available here that can lighten up the interior, nevertheless, some reports are indicating features that include an amazing ‘Spotlight’ trim on the dash, a keenlight accented multi-function steering wheel, leather upholstery and custom colored floor mats. Similarly, the accents can be witnessed on the doorstep trims too. Moreover, it is expected to come out with the standard 7-inch Honda Connect infotainment system, push button start and some other regular attributes.

On the mechanical front, it will be powered by a 1.3 i-VTEC petrol engine that is capable of generating 102 PS of power. Transmission duties will be taken care of by both a 6-speed manual or a semi automotive CVT gearbox with Earth Dreams Technology. Well, rest of the details will be out at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, premier days of which have already been started from today, while the public days will be started from October 1.
