Honda Might Launch a Diesel Variant Brio In India

Honda India has been quite a performer in the market with its varieties of cars and the performance oriented diesel engines as well. There were not any diesel cars available in the market from Honda until the Japanese manufacturer launched its Amaze compact sedan and that has just made the Indian market a right place for the company with its sales booming in all segments. Also, recently Honda has announced the launch of the facelift version of its Amaze sedan and Brio Hatchback. And, now the company is planning to launch the diesel variant of its Brio hatchback car to make sure that it conquers the rest of the market as well.

The Brio has already been spotted many times testing with the diesel engine and as Honda has brought the car in India with new 1.5 Diesel engine that already generates power for the Amaze sedan. In fact, the engine used in the Amaze was tested on the Brio itself. Well, it definitely would be great to see the impact of Diesel tuned Brio over the sales of the Hyundai i10 and i20 cars, which are currently dominating the Indian market.

Talking about the power, this 1.5 Litre engine generates 100 PS power on Amaze and expected to be detuned for the Brio and with improved fuel efficiency and well. Though, all these things are still not confirmed by the company, but the possibilities haven't been ruled out too.
