The troubled times for Honda don't seem to end. Earlier, back in May 2015, many Accord and CR-V models were called back owing to the faulty passenger side airbag inflators. The defect caused the airbag to inflate in pressure conditions, thereby shooting out metal shrapnel at the passengers. Now, the company has announced to call back 2,23,578 more units with defective airbags. If you want to know whether your model is in the list or not you can log in to the company's official website, www.hondacarindia.com and enter the 17 digits Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

Considering the above information, the units of Honda City are comparatively more than other models. According to the market report, some units of Honda Jazz have a production error in driver side airbag inflator, while other models have defects in both the driver side and the passenger side airbag inflator, which is to be replaced. The replacing procedure will start from 12th of October in various stages. The company aims that this issue is resolved as soon as possible so as to minimize customers' inconvenience as much as possible.
