Honda Teases Out its New Generation Jazz in India

A teaser video of the next generation Indian spec Honda Jazz has been posted on the social media channel of this Japanese manufacturer, which is different in appearance with regards to its pre-production model debuted at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. The teased out video unveils that it gets a chrome grille, roof spoiler including stop light, latest 5x2 spoke alloy wheels, body colored door handles and electrically adjustable ORVM with turn indicators. Inside, the hatchback will receive a multimedia navigation system, steering mounted controls, leather covered steering wheel, gear lever and keyless entry.

About to be launched within a couple of months, the price range of this car is likely to vary from INR 5 Lac to INR 7 Lac in the Indian automobile market. Beneath the skin, it will be powered by a 1.2 litre VTEC petrol engine as the Brio and Amaze to produce power of 87 bhp and torque of 109 Nm. Notably, For the first time, Honda will offer an oil burner version of this vehicle that will be firstly sell out in our country with the Amaze, City and Mobilio shared 1.5 litre i-DTEC unit producing power of 100 PS and torque of 200 Nm.

The diesel model is anticipated to make a spectacular fuel economy figure as compared to other runabouts come in its segment in India.
