Honda To Launch New CB Shine SP On November 19, 2015

After gaining its popularity in the Indian two-wheeler market, the Japanese two-wheeler maker, Honda Motorcycles& Scooters India, is all set to introduce new commuter motorcycle in the country in the upcoming days. The firm has already launched some of its new products earlier this year, while the some are on the way of their launching. Lately, the company had displayed Honda CB Hornet 160R and also teased the audience by unveiling the mystery model at the 2015 RevFest. The new mystery model might be named as Honda Shine SP that will go for retail in the domestic market on November 19, 2015. The new CB Shine SP is a premium version of the CB Shine.

The newcomer will be featured with the same mechanical bits as Honda CB Shine. The motor will be featured with Honda’s trustworthy technology- Honda Echo Technology (HET). The Honda CB Shine is powered by a 125cc air-cooled and single cylinder motor that returns 10.57 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and makes 10.30 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM, the motor is coupled with four speed transmission.

The new Honda CB Shine SP comes featured with a host of dynamic updates that include 10 spoke alloys, new tail lamp, slightly tweaked headlamps and tail lamps, new exhaust muffler, new decals, red colored springs in the rear suspension, new graphics and bigger visor. Furthermore, the new Shine SP will be positioned above Honda CB Shine and will compete with Bajaj Discover 125, Hero Glamour and Yamaha Saluto. In order to hold against the competitors such as Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp; Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) will likely launch new CB Hornet 160R by the end of the current year.

Like CB Shine, the new Shine SP might be launched in multiple variants such as Self-Disc, Self-Drum and Self-Disc-CBS.
