Honda Won't Launch the CBR250RR in India

Honda, the Japanese automobile manufacturing firm has disappointed the Indian bike lovers by not launching the recently unveiled Honda CBR250RR in Indian market. Because of having a high price tag and a premium category in the bike section, the company has wiped out the launching of the beast in Indian market.

The news was ingrained during the inauguration of the company’s 100th best deal outlet in Mumbai by YS Guleria, senior VP, HMSI. The company referred the expanding of their presence in the mass market segment- scooters and motorbikes as the reason of not launching the CBR250RR in the country. Apart from that, Honda wants to upgrade its complete range to meet BS-IV emission norms too. The last year launched Honda Hornet 160RR was the first Honda bike fueled with BS-IV engine.

According to the firm’s strategy, it will upgrade it’s 14 models to meet this emission by April 1, 2017. Looks like launching the premium bikes like CBR250RR and CBR300R doesn't seem to be the company’s priority, as the can not give them a boost in production. The Japanese firm thinks that it would rather indulge same time and effort in launching a product that will give them a boost in production, instead of introducing some premium bikes in the Indian Market.

The motorcycle enthusiasts shall have to keep their breath down by expecting more paint schemes and some decals on the idle selling CBR250RR, and nothing more.
