Honda's CBS Technology With Equaliser Garners Over 1 Crore Delighted Customers

It’s the celebration time for the India’s second most selling two wheelers brand-Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI). As the company has managed to taste an another huge success of garnering over 1 crore two-wheeler sales, which are equipped with this latest customer-centric technology- ‘Combi Brake System with Equalizer’. first time, this advanced technology has been used on Honda scooters early in 2009. Now after seven years, the firm has achieved this milestone of gathering over 1 crore Honda’ smiling faces. Globally, the technology has been trusted and acclaimed over 30 years with Honda.

Furthermore, an official company expression revealed, "Compared to conventional braking, Honda's Combi Brake System with Equalizer (CBS) reduces stopping distance and improves stability while braking so that you can ride with the confidence of efficient braking in your hands."

CBS System with Equalizer mechanism

Fundamentally, the role of the CBS system with Equaliser is completely dependent on the rear brake exercise. With the application of rear brake, the system automatically distributes the braking force proportionally to the both, rear and front wheel. Besides, the front brake is also applied force automatically from the integrated CBS mechanism.

Currently, Honda is offering five scooters and four motorcycles in its product lineup with this innovative technology. The products include Activa 3G, Activa i, Dio, Aviator, Activa 125 and, CB Shine, CB Shine SP, CB Unicorn 160, CB Hornet 160R.
