Hyosung's first bike which was launched in India is Comet, after its partnership with Kinetic Motors. The Comet was not able to gain a place in people's mind because of its high price and maintaining cost. Sometimes later the company again launched GT 250R and GT 650R in Indian market ,these both bikes were also not able to make any impact on Indian riders. The reason was lack of service and spare parts unavailability.
Now, the company is planning for some thing different, new power cruiser bike. Some of the pictures of this upcoming bike has already been revealed over the internet. Basically, the company is focusing on the sharp styling which they are going to incorporate with this power cruiser bike. The company will feature this bike with a liquid-cooled L-Twin engine with an engine displacement of 678cc. The company could add a single sided swing-arm to their power cruiser bike.
The power cruiser bike is highly inspired by Ducati's Diavel. The bike can get an exposed fat front and rear tyre, found in Ducati Diavel. It is expecting that the GD series by Hyosung will also hit the showrooms pretty soon. And, the most rumored and awaiting bike of Hyosung is Hyosung ST7 which is based on the power cruiser concept, will also getting ready to hit the market soon.
Now, we have to wait for all these upcoming power cruiser bikes to come in the market and we'll see whether the Indian bike lovers will get a chance to loosen up their pocket for this new concept or not ?
