Hyundai To Increase Prices by Rs. 3,000 - 20,000 Across Model Range

Hyundai has finally announced that they are increasing the prices of their car's effectively from August 16, 2016, for the reason of input cost being gradually increasing in the manufacturing. The company has cleared that the increased prices will be across all models.

Sr. Vice President, Sales, and Marketing, HMIL, Mr. Rakesh Srivastav has told that "The rupee depreciation and increase in raw materials cost have impacted our overall costs. We have been absorbing most of the costs but now we are compelled to consider the price increase. We will be increasing the prices from August 16, 2016 by Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 20,000 across models."

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki India also took the decision to increase the prices of their car's to compensate various government rules and impositions. While most of the car model's got a hike of Rs. 1500 to Rs. 5000, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza pulled extra Rs. 20,000 on its current value as being the fact of popular and best-selling and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno premium hatchback also incurred a hike of Rs. 10,000.

Coming to Hyundai, the company has not shared the detailed information and product wise hike but the increase will be applicable to all the models starting from the Eon to Santa Fe. The decision has been taken in keeping mind of ever increasing prices and expenses in the industry and its manufacturing operations.
