Hyundai To Work On Larger Seven-Seater SUV Christened Palisade

The Santa Fe SUV has received the update recently and included in the Hyundai's new family look. The South Korean Manufacturer, Hyundai is caught working on the new much larger seven-seater SUV which is christened to be Palisade. With the launch of the new seven-seater SUV, Santa Fe SUV will lose its place for being top of the flagship model of the company. The new seven-seaters Hyundai SUV is expected to be similar to the upcoming production version, the Kia Telluride SUV.

Spied SUV:

The new flagship SUV spied has similar features and design language like the Santa Fe. It gets alike slim headlamp design and large grille to the Santa Fe and Kona SUVs along with the similar secondary lower driving lamps. Coming to the design, it looks as well traditional and stands at an upright stance.

The Palisade is meant for South Korean company’s automobiles and structural parts thereof. In general, the word "Palisade" stands for protective fence safeguarding from attacks.

As compared to existing SUVs working on the rear wheel drive, it is expected to operate on front wheel drive with the optional all-wheel drive. US spec variant is likely to get petrol and hybrid powertrain option whereas international market will get a diesel choice.

Rivals:

The larger seven-seater flagship Hyundai SUV will compete against the Skoda Kodiaq, the Toyota Fortuner, and the Ford Endeavour in India considering size and price.

Expected Launch Date:

The new flagship SUV is expected to reveal in the United States by 2019 starting and will be available for a sell out in the market from the starting of 2020.

Expected Price:

As the new flagship SUV is under-development, the information about the price and proper features are not out. Still, it is for sure that the new Hyundai Palisade will be priced higher than the Santa Fe.
