India Bound Hyundai ix25 to be Known as Creta

The upcoming Hyundai ix25 compact SUV has been confirmed to be rolled out in India in the next half of this ongoing year. Apart from its launch, there is one more news that this vehicle will be named as Creta in the country and the reason behind giving this name is to offer easy and simple pronunciation for the customers. As Creta somehow sounds like the 'creative', which is hinting towards its various impressive features packed in a single bundle. Once its final production model touches the Indian ways, the likes of the Renault Duster, forthcoming Maruti SX4 S Cross, Mahindra Scorpio, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano will be automatically dropped.

HMIL said, “Hyundai Creta will be an influential global model for the Hyundai Motor brand in one of the fastest-growing vehicle segments, helping the company to reach out to many more consumers in new and established international markets”. The Hyundai ix25 is available at the Chinese dealerships in the length of 4.27 metres. Power will come from a 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engines as the Verna, both of these mills are paired to a 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmissions, respectively.

On the other hand, a 1.4 litre diesel engine is also expected to be introduced on the Creta. Aesthetically, it will be stunning from the outside and will have a comfortable cabin too that seem enough to attract anyone at a glance. This vehicle is anticipated to be priced between INR 8 Lac to INR 10 Lac.
