Earlier these days, the all new beautifully styled "Yamaha D'elight", has made its appearance at Automotive Research Association of India ( ARAI ), Pune. It is expecting that it made its visit to ARAI for the acceptance emission certificate and this visit makes us believe that India Yamaha Motors might launch this new stylish scooter pretty soon this year in India.
This scooter is currently available in European market and other few markets. The modern designed scooter has marketed as a daily traveler scooter in urban area. "Yamaha D'elight" has a delightful ride as it takes power from 114cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine which gives you silent start. The capacity of fuel tank is 4.4 litres and it is fuel injected. The air-cooled engine produces 7.10 BHP at 7000 RPM and maximum torque of 7.6Nm at 5500 RPM. The engine delivers a smooth power band and spirited 125 class performance as it is integrated with a v-let gearbox.
The scooter weighs only 98kgs and available in three different and attractive colors. The colors of this styled scooter are Magnetic Bronze, Milky White and Midnight Black. The scooter has a combination of classic style and modern design along with a compact chassis dimensions. It also has 180mm front disc brake and its lower seat makes you feel comfortable to handle the vehicle.
The predecessors of this scooter, Ray, Ray-Z and Alpha Scooter are available in Indian market. The body language and design of this scooter is similar to its previous models.
