Hero Motocorp's upcoming models of Karizma R and Karizma ZMR have already reached to selected dealerships in metro cities and the price range of both the bikes has also been revealed by the company prior to its launch. These bikes made their public debut at Delhi Auto Expo 2014 for the first time. Bookings of these two bikes are open now and the dealers are promising to deliver the bike immediately but again depending on the color availability, it can take 8-10 days for some specific colors. Both the bikes have additional features added and some cosmetic changes as well, if compared to its predecessors.
The bike gets an air-cooled, four-stroke 223cc engine with a single cylinder which is able to produce 19.2PS and 19.35Nm of torque. These features are better than its older version as it produces 17.2PS and 18.35Nm of torque. Due to this high power and torque output, the bike is able to generate 0-60kmph acceleration in 3.6 seconds. There is no changes in 5-speed gearbox. The on-Road price of New Karizma R in Delhi is INR 91,320 and in Mumbai it is INR 91,119.
This bike is powered by oil-cooled, four-stroke and fuel injected engine of 223cc engine displacement. This engine produces a maximum power of 20PS and 19.7Nm of torque which is elevated with its previous model. The new version of this bike has improved acceleration without any changes in its 5-speed gearbox. The on-Road price of the New 2014 Karizma ZMR in Delhi is INR 114,210 and in Mumbai it is INR 116,630.
Both the bikes have additional features added and some cosmetic changes as well, if compared to its predecessors. Now we have to wait for its official launch and then we will see how long they will go on the track of sports bike competition.
