Now, the manufacturer is about to set up more affordable runabout by updating the Celerio with diesel trim and the sources have claimed that the vehicle has commenced testing. The car includes the subtle changes alongside the DDiS badging  on the front wheel arches. It is expected to get rolled out in the first half of the next year.

The diesel variant of the Maruti Celerio seems to be machined with the 800cc twin cylinder engine.
