Indian Scout Sixty Launching Tomorrow in Mumbai

Indian Motorcycle, subsidiary arm of renowned American off-road vehicle maker, Polaris Industries, is all prepared to launch the most economical cruiser offering Scout Sixty in Mumbai tomorrow. Speculations say that the cruiser will be placed below the ongoing elder sibling, Indian Scout and would carry the price sticker of 11.99 lakh (ex- showroom). The premium cruiser motorcycle producer, has announced the launch of Scout sixty few month earlier. The bookings for this most affordable motorcycle has already been commenced.

Mechanically, the 2016 Scout Sixty will draw power from an all-new 999cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. The motor is rated to belt out 58.2bhp power and 88.8Nm torque with the support of linked a 5-speed gearbox transmission.

The 2016 Scout sixty share most of its elements from big brother, Indian Scout. Retrofitted with a single seat option, will also be offered with lots of accessories for customisation. The iconic automaker will be presenting this cheapest product in the lineup with the three eye cathy colour options of Red, White and Black.

The competitor in the luxury cruiser bike segment, Harley Davidson dominates in the entry level cruiser segment with its Street 750. Indian Motorcycle is hoping to capture a good share in this segment by its new Scout Sixty with such competitive price tag.

Recently, Indian Motorcycle is serving in the metro cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. But now, in order to expand its reach among the large volume of audience, manufacturer has inaugurated its new full-fledged dealership in Chandigarh and five more outlets are likely to start operating in Kochi, Kolkata, Pune, Indore and Goa by the year end.
