This is the first time, when Ford has released a plethora interior images of its upcoming Aspire compact sedan in India. The car is anticipated to go at dealerships next month with awesome exteriors that have already been seen, but the interior was under wraps yet to date and now, the manufactures has removed all the curtains while unveiling a dozen pictures of its cabin. Now, talking about the features, the dashboard is likely to be shared with the Ford EcoSport and Fiesta including a high set SYNC multimedia system.
Undoubtedly, the buttons available on the center console have been borrowed from other products of this brand with the steering wheel, door handles and power window switches. The automatic climate control system (in high end version) and the manual AC knobs (in base variant) can be controlled by the buttons present on the centre console's lower part.
Notably, a 6-speed PowerShift gearbox or if we will talk in the language of this American automaker, then the dual clutch transmission variant's image has also been unveiled, which will be only introduced in petrol model. Power will come from a 1.5 litre diesel mill and a 1.2 litre petrol unit, where both will get mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
If reports are to be believed, then a 1.5 litre petrol engine will be available on the 6-speed PowerShift transmission version. The Ford Figo Aspire compact sedan is likely to be launched in India in June 2015 between the price of INR 5.5 Lac to 7 Lac and will create the obstruction against Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and the Tata Zest.
