Kawasaki ZZR1400 Sports Edition Showcased by the company

As, we all know that Kawasaki is celebrating its 30th Anniversary Edition in the FY 2014. Few days back, the company has introduced a special anniversary edition of 'Kawasaki Ninja', company's flagship model. And, apart from that the company announced that only 300 units of this special edition will be manufactured along with a badge of 30th Anniversary edition over the fuel tank.

The special edition is available in two different colors of Red and Metallic Greystone with golden color pinstripes on the motorcycle. This special edition was launched only in U.S. and Canada. Now, for Atlantic region and Europeans, the company has revealed its all new Kawasaki ZZR 1400 Performance sports edition.

The ZZR1400 is a faster version of the previous motorcycle. The motorcycles engine is powered by a incredible 1441cc motor, which is capable enough to generate a 200BHP of power @ 10,000RPM and a maximum torque of 162.5Nm @ 7,500RPM. The engine is coupled by a shorter-geared 6-speed transmission box. And, the most important thing is that the motorcycle is blessed with RAM air intake system to add another 10 Horse power to the engine. The maximum speed gained by the motorcycle is 300KMPH (186mph). The Kawasaki ZZR1400 performance sports bike comes along with a slipper clutch, Eco-riding indicator and the KTRC Traction Control system.

The suspensions are provided by Ohlins stock with a TTX monoshock at the rear and the exhaust tail by Akrapovic, which is made up of Titanium. The braking system of the motorcycle has been taken care by ABS as a standard along with 4-pad radial front calipers and twin-piston. The motorcycle's Aluminum chassis has received a longer and stronger swingarm.

The motorcycle had received minor cosmetic changes, which includes a double bubble windscreen for more advantageous wind protection. The revised pattern of seat and addition of pillion adds more comfort zone to the rider. The Kawasaki ZZR 1400 sports edition is available in new shades of Golden Blazed Green and Metallic Spark Black. The performance sports bike comes along with a price tag of €18,990($ 25,700) and you can also grab it with a premium of €2,770 over the base model in European and American market.
